TECHNICAL MAPPING DEBRIEF:
THE BIGG PULL ROUTE
Our 2-day drive survey (10–11 April) confirms the 40- day route is doable with prep.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Accommodation: Mix of towns and prebooked lodges; backup plans for 3+ day gaps, driving to previous town or the next town.
- Medical: Hospitals/clinics flagged and where to stock up on medical kits.
- Road Safety: Breathtaking Mountain passes will need truck control zones for Power Team safety; we have no choice to control and manage the truck in these dangerous zones.
- Town Promotions: In majority of the towns. The promo and media team setting up and announcing ahead the arrival of THE POWER TEAM. Where possible meet the mayor of each town.
- Food/Med Supplies: Stock up in bigger towns. Shuttle vehicles will be used daily for supplies.
- Scenery/Tourism: Breathtaking Karoo and Mountain views with miraculous sunrise and sunset scenes – all worth it. We are blessed living in beautiful South Africa. We believe logging in daily and streaming live, many national and international audience, will be
able to experience SA online. - Now locking in logistics.
